Due to COVID-19, most on-site classes have been suspended until further notice. Only AA and Mosaics have resumed at this stage and with strict new rules upon entry. Please go to each individual group that has resumed for more information.

Even though our Centre is open again we still have limitations as to what we can provide, we are still working hard behind the scenes to ensure that no one in the community goes without during this difficult period.
Our service delivery has adapted to include the following:
Keeping In Touch Project - weekly phone calls to our clients to see if they need any support, information and/or referrals. If you are not a regular client and would like to be a part of this program please call the Centre and let us know.
Corona Isolation Bags - Home deliveries of bags with information, activities, recipes, food and other goodies to keep clients busy and in good spirits.
Home Deliveries - home delivery of essentials for our clients who have a health condition, are elderly or frail, or are single-parent families unable to leave the household.
Counselling Services - available over the phone by appointment only.
Home Schooling support for parents - assisting parents in understanding and researching school projects and assignments for their children.
Pen Pals Project - keeping aged-care residents connected to the community (primary students) through letters and Skype.
Boomerang Bags and Sit and Sew - while our Boomerang Bags and Sit and Sew Ladies can no longer meet on site, they have been sewing from home, and have been undertaking additional projects to assist our local hospitals and health care workers. If you would like to get involved, please contact the centre for more information.
Domestic and Family Violence Support - counselling for women in partnership with Baptist Care.

Regular engagement with our local youth - keeping in touch with young people and supporting them on a weekly basis.
Coolaburoo Neighbourhood Centre Inc. is a not for profit community organisation servicing the needs of the local community by offering; support groups, projects, programs, activities, resources, counselling, information and referrals.
Here at Coolaburoo we are passionate about engaging the local community in as many ways as possible. We understand that our diverse community is unique and strive to offer programs that promote growth, inclusion, support and fun.
One of our main focuses at Coolaburoo is to bring the community together through education and outreach. We offer a number of fun and creative programs surrounding educating the community.
Kids and youth are the future leaders of the community. We've seen on numerous occasions the brilliance that can emerge when they are given the right environment to learn, play and explore.
Coolaburoo are proud of the unique and wonderful families living in the local area. We enjoy running various activities to enrich the lives of these families and to help each family build strong networks and support around them.
School Holiday Activities
School holidays are a busy and exciting time at the centre, as we offer a number of different activities for kids, youth and families.
There is much to be said for the holistic benefits moving about brings to us. Coolaburoo offers a number of groups focused on enriching your life socially, mentally and physically through physical activity.
The team at Coolaburoo visit schools in the local area and run incursions. Some of our most successful programs include Pen Pals, Love Bites and Aspiring Cops, but we can also deliver workshops that cater to the specific needs of your school.
