Love Bites Workshops

(Healthy Relationships, Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault)

LOVE BiTES is a Respectful Relationships Education Program for young people in high school. It consists of two interactive workshops: one on Relationship Violence, and one on Sex and Relationships, followed by creative workshops and community campaigns.

We mainly run this workshop within High Schools so if you would like your child to participate in it find out if your school is currently running it and if not contact us and we may be able to provide it at your child’s school.

We are also able to run it outside of school, based on how many participants we can get to participate.

Seasons for Growth

Seasons for Growth is an innovative, evidence-based change, loss and grief education program that draws on the metaphor of the seasons to understand the experience of grief. It builds the knowledge and skills necessary to strengthen social and emotional wellbeing following significant loss by:

·      Exploring the impact of change and loss

·      Learning about effective ways to respond and adapt

Participants learn that they are not alone in their experience of change, loss and grief, and are able to build their communication, decision making and problem solving skills within the context of a safe and supportive peer group learning environment.

All Seasons for Growth programs are grounded in sound, person-centred educational principles.

As such, our programs have been shown to be a very effective education intervention. The programs do not provide counselling or psychotherapy.

Even though the Workshops are designed to focus on loss and grief we are also able to run programs suited to children or young people going through other changes such as family breakdowns, moving house or school, etc.
