The team at Coolaburoo visit schools in the local area and run incursions. Some of our most successful programs include Pen Pals, Love Bites and Aspiring Cops.
Pen Pals is an intergenerational writing workshop where students create letters that are sent to residents in local retirement villages. This primary program runs for two terms and ends with a meet and greet.
Love Bites is domestic and family violence and sexual assault prevention program. The workshop runs for a day and is designed for secondary students.
Aspiring Cops is an excursion where staff at Coolaburoo take students out to the Goulburn Police Academy for the day. Students learn all about the academy and get a chance to talk to the police students about their future and their career aspirations.
Coolaburoo staff are also happy to create an deliver any workshops you would specifically like delivered to your students. Just call the centre and speak to us about what you need.
